Blue Sage Chef Services is happy to bring fresh, healthy, and delicious prepared meals to your table.  We specialize in gourmet in-home meals, private dinner parties, and small event catering for Orange County and San Diego areas.  Using only high quality ingredients, we create a menu that is suited to your taste. We emphasize seasonal and local ingredients in our dishes to ensure the freshest meals, and use organic local produce when possible.

Chef Patty uses the highest quality ingredients to assure that your meals taste as fresh as possible.  Emphasizing seasonal, local ingredients is very important.  Chef Patty also uses organic and natural products when available.

Chef Patty Nelson is the founder and Head Chef of Blue Sage Chef Services.  She is a Southern California native who believes  that using the freshest, most high quality ingredients will result in the best tasting food.  She was taught to cook by her Italian grandmother and mother and has always felt the most comfortable when in a kitchen preparing meals.  

Chef Patty is well versed in different cultures of food and has a love for creating her own dishes.  After graduating from the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco, she quickly got to work, learning valuable information from different chefs.  Chef Patty worked her way up from the hotline to Sous Chef where she learned the importance of culinary professionalism, while not compromising quality, taste, or presentation.  

It was a couple years after graduating Culinary School that Chef Patty realized her love for in home meal planning and cooking for private parties.  Since that time, she has been employed long term for three different families as their Private Chef.  She is now excited to embark on this adventure where she can showcase her farm-fresh, local, and organic dishes to the rest of the public.  Chef Patty knows that cooking good, simple food with great flavors will always have a positive result.
